Belly Casting
This amazing and beautiful shape that your body has taken will be surprisingly difficult to remember as your baby grows up. A belly casting is safe and a fun way to create a work of art out of your pregnant shape. The cast can include only your belly, your belly and breasts, or even your hips! It can be simple or ornate...it all depends on your own personal aesthetic.
Belly Casts are typically created between 36-38 weeks, in the comfort of your own home. I will arrive with all the materials, create your casting, and clean up when we are finished. The process typically takes about 1-2 hours and you can feel free to invite friends to join in on the fun.
Once the casting is completed and has adequate time to dry, some women choose to have it painted. I can assist with referrals to artists or I can help you with acquiring materials and design ideas so that you can paint it yourself.
Belly Casting is also a beautiful addition to a Blessingway ceremony or a baby shower!
