Yoga Instruction
Lauren is a joyful and encouraging teacher whose daily yoga practice includes Hatha Yoga and Bhakti Yoga. She enjoys fostering a practice that helps women relax and relish in the miracle occurring within their bodies. Her desire is to give pregnant women the tools to create a calm and peaceful home for their babies until it is time for them to enter into this world. The Prenatal Yoga classes she offers focus on opening poses, awareness of breath, and guided imagery; all of which are great tools for labor and delivery. In addition to teaching Prenatal Yoga, she also offers Fertility Yoga Classes & Pre/Post Natal classes as well as private instruction.

Class Descriptions
Prenatal: Growing that “baby belly” can be a wonderful time, but it’s often mixed with challenges for the body and mind. Attend this class for a beautiful practice of nurturing meditations and nourishing movements to prime you and your blossoming child for an easier, more bountiful pregnancy and birth.
Fertility: In this weekly practice session, we will explore the use of yoga to support fertility. The practice blends gentle hatha flow, yin yoga and restorative yoga and will vary week to week. Mindfulness meditation, fertility-centered guided imagery and pranayama (breathing practices) will also be a regular part of class. Focus will be on improving circulation and energy flow to the reproductive system and balancing the delicate hormonal system through specific poses and yogic techniques. Most of all, this gentle practice will help those trying to conceive to deeply relax, open the heart and connect to a higher purpose. Whether you trying to conceive naturally, going through assisted reproductive treatments, grieving a loss, or considering other family building options, there is a space for you here. **Women undergoing IVF should not attend class for at least 48 hours post-retrieval and 48 hours post-transfer and should obtain doctor approval before attending. **
